Florida Keys Home Search is committed to making this website usable by everyone, regardless of ability or technology.
Our standard
We design and build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. In practice, that includes:
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
- Full keyboard navigability, including menus and forms
- Reduced-motion support: the site's scroll animations are disabled automatically for visitors whose devices request reduced motion, with all content available in a static layout
Third-party content
Property search, listing displays, and lead forms are provided by our IDX partner (iHomeFinder). We choose configuration options with accessibility in mind, but some third-party interfaces are outside our direct control. If you have difficulty using the property search, contact us and we'll run the search for you personally.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is a continuing effort. We review the site as content and features change and prioritize fixes that affect core tasks: searching listings, reading island guides, and contacting us.
